David Brown

“The only reason why a lot of people don’t bother to allow dreams to become reality is because we let other people tell us what we can and cannot do” Over coming adversity with resilience, Team USA’s David Brown proved to be the fasted totally blind athlete in the world. “If you can see it then you can achieve it” Only 6 years into a professional career, Brown has been on two Paralympic teams, set two world records, won eight gold and two silver medals. “Trying to get beyond what all the people were saying. Mostly trying to over come thoughts and beliefs to me was the hardest part” Brown tells me how the hardest part about becoming great was never physical, but rather mental. Leaving behind what other people had to say and believing in yourself. “You see what I do and how I’m doing it and it’s possible for you too. It’s possible for anyone” Currently training to go back to the Paralympics, Brown has big plans to put world records completely out of reach. “Work hard. Drive hard. Strive to be the greatest of all time”
